ANZAC Day: lest we forget

April 25 is Anzac Day, a special date for Australians and New Zealanders whose forefathers fought overseas in the World Wars and other conflicts. It’s a day of remembrance for the fallen, a tradition started following the terrible Gallipoli campaign of 1915 during the Great War. Many other “Diggers” who fought on the Western Front from 1916 are buried in France and Belgium.
