MyHeritage Publishes the 1950 U.S. Census — Search for FREE!

The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived! We are delighted to announce that we have published an image-only collection of the 1950 U.S. Census, 72 years after the enumeration was initiated — and it is now available for you to search for FREE! The census provides fascinating details about the lives of the 150 million Americans living in the U.S. and its territories from 1940 to 1950. If you had family living in the United States during this time period you are likely to find important details about their lives.

Though this collection of the 1950 U.S. Census contains images only, in the coming days and weeks we will be indexing the census images, state by state, so that searching the 1950 U.S. Census by name will be available to all users, for free.
